It’s showtime!

Was haben Brigitte Bardot oder Erroll Flynn, Johnny Depp oder die Rolling Stones, Gracia Patricia oder die Callas, Gunter Sachs, Albert Einstein, Herbert von Karajan oder Willy Brandt gemeinsam? Zwei Dinge: Ob gescheiter oder gekrönter Kopf, ob Filmstar oder Künstler, Playboy oder Industrieller – sie alle sind VIPs und teilen ihre Liebe zu Schiffen und Meer und (zumeist) schnittigen Yachten als grandiose Bühne zur Selbstinszenierung.

Auf amüsante Weise zeigt dies das Buch VIPs an Bord und stellt mit selten gezeigten SW-Bildern, kurzen Texten und Originalzitaten der Frage nach, was diese Menschen aufs Wasser zieht und welche Figur sie dabei machen.
Aufgeteilt ist das Werk in fünf Hauptkapitel:

This book presents famous people on board – well known and less known photos in addition to short, entertaining and informative text will try to bring light into the fascination of why VIPs love the water.

It is planed that Dr. Michael Naumann (former Cultural Minister of State, Author and Publisher) writes the foreword. Topic: The Ocean as a stage (?)

Instead of a conventional list of contents, it is planned to show five double pages with photos per chapter. Each of the five main chapters shall have a kind of editorial – a picture journey with singled out quotes as well as longer text corresponding very special celebrities.
